I am asking for a variety materials to use to encourage inquiry, creativity and critical thinking skills. Due to Covid 19 and the increase in screen time, my students are lacking in problem solving and social skills. Using materials together to build, design, and develop various projects will help my students learn to work together cooperatively and engage student learning. Working together effectively and using communication to problem solve is a building block skill that effects future education experiences. These materials will be used daily to enhance student learning as well as fine motor skills through exploration. Student enjoyment and engagement will increase with the access to this variety of materials.
