Everything in this grant is a hands on learning activity for little learners. We know that kids learn best through playing. In my classroom I am really trying to teach academics but also social/emotional skills. So many of these kids came to school without much prior experience with other groups of kids. Because of covid-19 beginning when they were toddlers, several students stayed home with their parents and had limited interactions with other children that weren't family or friends. With these activities they are going to be practicing taking turns, working with others, and building friendships!
