I want to set up a small egg hatchery. This project will have a meaningful impact and further enhance learning in my classroom. It will help turn off some of the students shyness and turn on their natural curiosity. This project will teach the students about life cycle of a chick and what the chicks need to live and survive. During the Covid 19 pandemic students had limited exploration and exposure to natural life science. I want to bring some of the outside world into the classroom. I have asked for an egg incubator to hatch baby chicks. This will increase the students knowledge of the life cycle of a chick. I want them to be able to have a visual to help them learn. I need a heated lamp , feeder, water, feed, and a brooding box. All of the resources above will further my students love of learning in a fun way. I would love to have some of the reading materials that would help students retain and reinforce their knowledge about the life cycle of a chick.
