My project will allow the 5th and 6th grade Social Studies students at our school to rebuild some of the concepts that they missed during the pandemic, using hands-on activities. These Touch and Learn USA Maps will enable students to experience a hands-on learning opportunity to improve their map skills and historical knowledge. The students will be able to explore everything from capitals and landmarks to famous people in the U.S. There are 1000 facts and quiz questions. Each of these has 3 modes of play-including a fun game that lets kids race to the White House to become the next president! Each Touch and Learn USA Map requires 3 AAA batteries, so I have included 4-20 packs of Duracell Coppertop Alkaline Batteries as well.
