The items we received from our Donors Choose Project helped to fund various items to ensure a safe and calming learning environment. We were able to purchase rolling ball chairs. We have one student who chooses that seat the moment se walks in our room. She requires constant movement in order to improve her focus while reading or doing her class work. \r\n\r\nWe were also able to purchase lighting covers. Our classroom has multiple fluorescent lights that can affect vision for our students. The light covers we were able to purchase have been a big hit with our students. Many of our students had complained that the room was too bright. The light covers provide a serene and calming effect in our classroom. \r\n\r\nAll of our students were excited to be able to use alternative seating, desks, and other calming items we were able to purchase with your generosity. We would like for our students to continue learning in a stress free environment.
