Students who are either distance learners or on quarantine for Covid protocol can check out a calculator to aid in learning from home. This will help students feel like they can "stay home" if necessary and not feel the need to come to school to be able to complete assignments. My students could have the right tools in hand, no matter their family's socioeconomic status, to help them succeed during this difficult time in education. I teach in a low income community and many families can not afford the added expense to provide their child with this tool for learning.
