We are so lucky to have Chromebooks for every student to use at school and at home. Students need to have a charger for their Chromebooks at home and at school. A Chromebook is only useful when it has power and as a first grade teacher, I have students that come in with dead Chromebooks and forgot their charger. I personally have chargers at home and at school because even as an adult I forget to pack it sometimes. It would also help me as a teacher continue to teach instead of taking a Chromebook cart apart and packing chargers each time they need to take them to use at home. This takes at least 30 minutes of time away from instructing or planning to instruct my students. My mission is to have more learning time for my students on and off the Chromebooks, at school and at home by lending them a charger to keep them charged and ready to learn at home.
