I want to engage the students with vivid 3D lessons that capture their attention and implant the Geographical concepts I am teaching in their minds. The 3D glasses will make cultural and historical images come alive through 3D presentations in class that students can also view on their own laptops as we learn together. What better way to view the images about our world and other cultures than through images that come alive on their screens. It is the next best thing to being there and is engaging to young learners. When teaching about the World and all of the concepts and places we discuss in Geography, it is very helpful and engaging to have a 3 dimensional representation that students can touch, move and see with their eyes and hands rather than a picture on the screen. 3D puzzles and games can also help students see and learn about the world in a way that is fun and that they will remember more than just simply reading in a book.
