The books I have in the cart are to help my low-income students have books in class to read that are at their level. Lots of my students don't have access to grade-level books at home, or even from the city library. My students need to have the opportunity to have books in their hands that are fun, engaging, and words they know to start fostering a love of reading. When students have books they can understand and read, that is when the magic starts to grow! Reading is Knowledge!
