The wiggle seats and Bouncy Bands will help my students relieve a lot of stress and anxiety when it comes to reading, writing, and spelling. I've seen students rubbing their heads so hard while they are sounding out words that their hair falls out! I've seen others switch seat positions, stand up/sit down over and over, rub the corners of the pages - all signs of serious stress and anxiousness. They are worried and fearful at times of failing.
My students would find comfort and relief sitting on these wiggle seats, which are much softer and pleasant than a basic school chair.
I would tell my students to make sure they are using the Bouncy Bands as we start reading, or spelling tests, or writing assignments. I would let them know exactly what these things are for and how to use them effectively.
My students' faces would light up if we received a donation like this. Not only would it pump them up and get them excited about being at school, but it would also heal and treat their anxieties.
