When my classes come to me, they are ready to move and release energy. During the winter months, there are lots of days/weeks they don't get any recess time. I am hoping to bring an outside game inside and give the students a chance to burn energy, help develop their social emotional learning, and of course, have fun. Our school has a stationary Gaga pit on one of our 3 playgrounds. Two of our grades in our school don't get to use that playground during regular school days. If I receive the portable, inflatable Gagaball Pit, I will be able to teach them the rules and let them play anywhere on the school grounds. During this pandemic, our kids have had so many changes and disruptions to their schedules, learning, and daily lives. Please help me give them as many opportunities as possible to work through the stressors from day to day.
