My project is to fund flexible seating for my students. My students will benefit greatly from being able to choose different types of seating. First graders need lots of opportunity for movement, especially this group who has not had a "normal" school year in their school career. I have several students who haven't been enrolled in in person school ever before. They need flexibility to help with core strength and low muscle development. Sitting in regular seating for extended periods can be very difficult for these kids. They need the opportunity to wiggle.
