The addition of a 3D printer to my 5th grade classroom will allow my students to jump into that "3D" world! Many have never seen one operate, and will be amazed at how this machine will operate! This printer will be very useful in my math classes by helping the kids visualize angles, dimension, etc. Many of the concepts that are taught in the upper elementary classes can begin to become very abstract. I'm happy to find something that will help us! To be very honest, 5th graders can be difficult to motivate at times. This printer will be one way that I can get my student's attention and keep it! I can also use it for a motivational tool!
