These materials will help my special education students triumph above challenges! Special needs are commonly defined by what a child CAN’T do - I want to see what they CAN do! The resources within my project will create a SUCCESSFUL learning experience for my students. My project focuses on achieving success through modified learning tools. The items within my proposed project will help my students achieve independence and learn life skills. Many of the items are specially designed for the developmental disabilities I encounter with my students. I have also included storage options to provide a safe and secure place to store the items within my project. With this project, my classroom will be turned into a productive learning zone full of color and options for hands-on learning and successful life skill development. The knowledge gained using the items within my project will benefit my special needs students to achieve independence and journey into adulthood.
