All students learn differently. By allowing students to integrate art into learning in all content areas, we are setting them up to experience success and thrive. Integrating art in academics creates student choice and ownership in learning. To set our students up for success, we need the supplies for them to use to express themselves and what they are learning. As one of our students has said, “We are all gifted, just in different ways.” Integrating academics and arts provides all students the opportunity to show their gifts. Not only will this project help student integrate art into their learning, it will also allow them to express themselves and support their overall academic and social emotional well-being.

About my class
