Every child is a writer. Having an engaging writing center in my classroom will allow the writers to grow. Even in the midst of COVID-19 we must encourage our young children to draw and write. Writing is linked to improving motor skills, vocabulary, communication, creativity, organization and reading. Writing is essential to our daily lives. Resources from this project will make a new space come alive in our classroom. A new table with all new writing utensils, markers, pens, highlighters, and pencils. Have many different ways to express writing available to students such as postcards, letters, shopping lists, whiteboards, even pretending like they are a waiter and taking a food order! A laminator will make these materials durable and reusable. Thank you for helping our class!
