Most of my class is one or two grade levels below first grade. They need dry erase boards and manipulatives to help them catch up. As the teacher, I have to do lots of small group lessons with the whole group and don't have enough supplies on a large scale. For literacy, I want to use dry erase answer boards so the students have to write the letter or word and hold it up. We will have contests to see who can hold it up first. We can also use the dry erase boards for solving math facts!
