I have been teaching for 26 years and Margaret Hillert books seem to really reach my low and non-readers. The pandemic has been such a challenge to get these little ones on grade level in reading. I will use these book for my small group instruction and tutoring after school. The students will be able to take these books home and read with their parents for extra joy and support. The look of joy on a child's face when they began to read is such a beautiful thing to experience!
