I am a teacher who began teaching during the COVID pandemic, in fall 2021. As a first-year teacher, my classroom is currently very bare-bones. One of the things that my students have suggested is the implementation of posters around the classroom. These posters will not only brighten up the room but have academic value and will help them with their work. Over the past few years, many students have fallen behind; having a colorful learning environment with academic aids will assist them as they recover the ground they lost over the past few years. In addition to the posters, I am also requesting other items to supply the classroom such as tools to hang the posters, dry erase markers, and pencils.
