Reading corners increase children's access to books and create an encouraging and inviting atmosphere The provide an opportunity for books to be more visible in the classroom. It provides a space that children can sit, relax and read in comfort and a chance to escape and have an immersive experience. They can help build literacy skills. When books are available to use, students are more likely to pick them up and read them, which is fantastic for developing important skills in reading and writing. A reading corner in my classroom will give me a platform where I can support and facilitate my children to make meaning while reading.
