These stereoscopes, first and foremost, will be a magnificent addition to a classroom that, frankly, is lacking in materials. A large majority of my students have been unable to take part in any form of lesson or classroom setting that made use of laboratory technology. My first goal with these microscopes is to teach students what they are, how they work, and how to use them. From there, they will make a great resource that will allow them to explore a wide variety of topics from geology and the structure of rocks to Biology and looking at the anatomy of plants. The donations of these stereoscopes will help spark an interest and eventually a love for science in many students who have not been provided the opportunity to engage with science. Everybody loves getting to play around with a microscope. Even something as simple as looking at your finger under the lens of a stereoscope can be exciting enough to spark further interest. With your support and with these two stereoscopes, I believe that we can cultivate a love for science in my students. Thank you for your support!
