Along with the challenges of covid, our school has been under construction along with our playground. I have observed my students experiencing difficulties recognizing and coping with their emotions, they are challenged when it comes to working with and listening to others, and I have seen insufficiencies in their social, gross, and fine motor skills. I have selected several items that I feel will help all my students learn to understand and manage their emotions, work and play with others, and improve their gross and fine motor skills. These stem games, art supplies, dramatic play items will encourage cooperation, social skills, and creativity. These all will provide opportunities for my students to learn through creative play.
