About my class

Please help my class and our school to have a class set of rechargeable light tablets to support learning through the arts. We currently share 4 heavy circular lightboards with the whole school. These are very popular with students which means we share a lot. Unfortunately this probably includes germs. As an arts integration school our students illustrate concepts from science, math, history, science and their book studies. Often these youngsters make heavy handed mistakes on their first attempt that can't be erased. They need a do-over and lightboards make this process so much easier than crowding together at a window, or at one of the schools few lightboards. Lightboards also make it easy for students to combine elements from several drafts to make projects that give them pride in a job well done. This is an expensive project but can serve as a class set for checkout for years to come. The light pads selected are lightweight and rechargeable with a battery life of several hours. This will allow them to be used at a student's own desk. No crowding, no cords and hopefully no sharing germs.
