My students have no library in their class. They have no area to read and decompress. When I took this class over I picture a space where the kids could escape. Some of them have a hard life and I want to give them an area were they can read, play board games while learning social skills, and have fun learning. They haven't had the best experience with school so if I can give them the best ending to second grade I will feel like they will want to come back.
