I teach preschool students and for most this is their first experience with school. I encourage a play-based classroom with lots of hands-on learning to make preschool fun and meaningful. My students are full of imagination and I help support that by offering realistic activities for them. Covid affected my students learning the first year (2020) by us not being able to be in school, so they did not get to experience using the learning centers within the classroom. And last year we also closed a quarter of the year to deal with Covid and the children did not even get to experience using my airplane, veterinary office, and lost lots of valuable hands-on learning and FUN!
