These resources will help give my students a finished autobiography that will show their uniqueness and give them a finished, professional looking product. The binder, colored paper, and sharpies will give them the opportunity to have ownership of not only the words that they have written, but also the design of their life story. It will be something that they can be proud of to share with family and friends. It will be something they can keep and reflect on later in their lives. All of my students complete a variety of written projects and research papers that will benefit from these resources. Students in today's world have so many technological advances to use, yet often times they are not left with anything tangible. These resources will add authenticity by giving them a physical, professional looking product of their creation. It will give them a sense of self not only with words but with a final professional product.
