Making sure students are comfortable and safe is essential. With the digital microscopes, I can allow students to safely investigate curiosities while, also, helping them to learn essential emotional and social skills of the classroom. They can walk around the room collecting evidence and specimen models from their peers without having contact with any equipment. This will also allow them to collaborate and discuss their findings in a safe manner, with all the groups in the room. Giving my students the to opportunity to investigate scientific phenomena with a microscope that has a digital display will allow my student to conduct experiments and investigations in the classroom while keeping everyone at a safer distance from each other.
