The students in my school don't have a formal art teacher. The 6th-grade students I teach need an outlet, and recently I found some really good art resource websites. Art can help all children feel successful, especially those who don't experience much success with the other subjects. With an iPad to use for taking pictures of my students and the art they made using all of the art supplies I'm asking for in this grant, I will be able to share their work with parents on social media. The pandemic has had an impact on many things throughout my students' lives. These art supplies and iPad will help me to help my students to become more creative and their parents will get to experience the results when I post on social media. The iPad will be a powerful tool for mirroring the websites and guided drawing videos on my board so that I can walk around the room and encourage students to create their drawings. The Chromebook charging station will allow the kids to use their own Chromebooks to choose a unique drawing for display. Thank you for considering my project for funding!
