Seeing the globe and having opportunities to hear and see people, places, and things from afar will help engage student curiosity and intensify learning. These materials will allow for digital safaris and other "trips" for the students to take at their own pace. Seeing the world is the best chance students have at grasping what its stories can teach. Giving the students a class set of globes as a resource will allow the students to have more access to something tangible. This will allow students to see and touch an object as we study places and locations as a class.
