As a school nurse my job is to make sure the student's are safe at school. That involves a lot of training. Most of the items I am asking for involve materials that will help more adequately train the classroom staff so that when emergencies arise they are better trained and more comfortable to provide care. Items such as the injection pads, CPR training mask, and practice inhaler will help with that training. Additionally, the stethoscope carrying case and insulin cooler will provide me with organizational tools to transport my assessment and training supplies. The hand washing stickers and the plush microbes will help me when I provide hand washing classes for the students. Finally, I asked for an electronic blood pressure monitor. Currently I only have one that is adults size. The majority of my patients are elementary age so I really need a pediatric size cuff.
