The use of math and reading manipulatives is essential in my classroom. I like to have a variety of learning styles available for each student. Students seem to grasp the new concepts with hands-on activities. They need a different way of learning besides pencil and paper. I strive to meet every learning style I can. These items I am asking for will help me complete the hands-on learning style better. It will also help me with working in groups and individually. Our school does a Walk to Learn program, and these manipulative's will be an excellent resource for us. Our students also need headphones for the Chromebooks we have available for each student. Some of the student's parents cannot afford them.
