I want to introduce printmaking studies as part of our curriculum. My classes learn about printmaking, but we have not had the funds to give my students a printmaking experience. Many of my students want to explore and engage in activities that are not just paper and pencil. This is a great way for them to explore other tools. I believe that introducing other media to students will give them more areas to explore, not just for art but also for their emotional needs. Making art the students wear or carry around can also help them in expressing themselves.
