The materials requested for this project will be a huge asset for my students. Technology is used regularly in our classroom. The headphones and computer mice will help them navigate their computers successfully and minimize distractions. Students are working every day to overcome deficits brought on by the pandemic and these materials will help them stay focused and on task. Adding bouncy bands to their desks will help them get their wiggles out while still participating in classroom learning. It's not only educational learning that has been affected by the pandemic. Time spent quarantined at home caused students to miss out on social learning opportunities. These social skills are a critical component of learning in the classroom. The collaborative activities requested will provide students with valuable opportunities to interact with their peers and learn these important skills.
