During the Covid-19 pandemic, young children were not able to go into their community and did not have playdates. We want to help students make up for that loss and give them opportunities to play and pretend and learn alongside their friends at school. Our dramatic play area needs new baby doll clothes, baby dolls, baby furniture, and dress-up clothes. These materials will give students the ability to pretend play, which sometimes helps them talk and interact more. The shark pirate ship, car ramp, little people, and dinosaur rug will be a great addition to our block area. Students in our class play with these types of toys all the time! We will use the printer and laminating sheets to create academic learning materials that are colorful and hands-on. The materials selected in this project were chosen to specifically target academic and social-emotional learning. We are excited to bring these materials into our classroom!
