Tulsa World newspaper rated our community as the poorest in the state of Oklahoma. A drive through our community confirms that rating. More than 50% of our students are Hispanic and Native American, many of who are English language learners. As teachers, we want to give them a chance. These supplies are needed to keep their attention on learning, not on how they are going to ask their parents for items there is no money to purchase them. They are worth every penny and every minute as we help guide them.
