My students range from K-8th grade. As such, chosen materials reflect a broad range of age groups. Subject area for materials ranges from mathematics to social emotional skills. The materials of the fidgets with letters on them will allow my younger students to practice their English letters (I specialize with those students whose first language is one other than English) as well as maintain focus in a fun way. Another material, for example, is the "mindfulness game"; this will serve to help my students recognize and evaluate their emotions and in turn be better learners and participators in the greater school community. Some of my students are gifted and talented. Some materials are listed for them to have opportunities to engage in creative activities that will stretch their thinking. Other students meet with me in small group settings for foundational skills. Some materials are listed for them to work on reading skills. And finally, all of my students have complex social and emotional needs and as such, materials are listed to provide activities, strategies, and the most up to date practices to help them.
