In 6th grade in-person PE I focus a lot on building hand-eye coordination skills through various sports and games. That means work on hitting with paddles and rackets with sports like pickleball and badminton. The adjustable height of the nets I've found mean that we can use them for both sports which helps us save space and cost. I like to use tossing games, like kubb and corn hole, that require hitting a target, to work on skills like accuracy and concentration. With multiple corn hole sets I can set up tournaments.
