The telescope will allow students to be able to do a hands on activity on their own without having to just watch another individual. Hands on activities help students better connect concepts to their environment, which is a stark contrast to the lack of involvement during online learning. Chladni plates will have the same effect- rather than just telling the students about wave interaction, I can show them and teach them how to experiment with them themselves. These materials will help my students to not only learn about exciting and applicable topics, but will allow them to apply and experiment on their own. The other classroom materials will help me create a better learning environment for my students, rather than seeing bland walls and empty tables, they will be able to have a fun, stimulating environment which will encourage them to see education in a positive light despite the ever changing COVID-19 protocols that may make things seem fleeting and pointless.
