I would really like to share with my students a new book by RJ Palacio called Pony. This book is a genre-bender as it includes historical fiction with great details on 1859 photography, mystery including a kidnapped father. It also includes animals & ghosts, and has great character development. Will Silas be able to rescue his father from the menacing horsemen? Books offer such a wonderful escape from the present pandemic situation. There will be so much to talk about as a group after my students have read this great book!
