My students learn by doing and the equipment requested will be used to create a variety of media such as informational podcasts, how-to videos and community service presentations. Students thrive on learning about new technologies. The broadcasting equipment-- microphones, sound board and connections--will provide a new skills set for students and will encourage their creativity, provide a means to improve personal interactions with peers, and give students a sense of ownership . Not only will my students benefit from producing different types of media, other students, teachers, and community members will have access to the media at any time and in any place.

About my class
