My students had a different teacher to start the year, but halfway through the year she left with the materials in her classroom. The children have buckets at the side of the room to keep their possessions, but nothing at their tables to use to keep their things separate. Having chair pockets would give the children a place to keep their things that is accessible throughout the day. They can have their things with them at their tables. This will allow us to transition quickly and easily, and give the children a specific place to keep their things.
