Staying seated in the same seat for 6-7 hours a day can be difficult for any student. Having flexibility and comfort in their seating choices will lead to engaged learners. When doing small group work, they sit on the cold, hard tile floor. I would love to be able to provide nice floor cushions as well as portable desks for when they need to be able to write or use their chromebooks. Giving my students a different seating option during small groups allows learning in a more fun and exciting setting.
