We will use the listening center to help students gain confidence and fluency with reading. Because of the impact of the pandemic my students have suffered gaps in reading. Through using the flexible seating we can facilitate group learning with reading and discussion. My students need all the social emotional interaction that they can get. A student with disabilities struggle each day to make it. I am creating a calming area where they can go when they are stressed. Since COVID began my students have shown more anxiety and stress than ever before. I believe this will help them be a better student.
