We will be performing a play for the entire school and the community. My students have researched the subject Oklahoma Land Run of 1889. Together we have written the script. We are spending time memorizing our lines. We will be involving the community by having people who their relatives were involved in the land run share their family history with the audience. We will also end by having the audience join us in the song Oklahoma with an impromptu dance. Now we just need help with the costumes and props.

About my class
