In the days of COVID teaching, we find more and more students glued to their computers screens for hours during the day, and again for homework each evening. We know students need time to get up and move to not only energize their bodies but keep them healthy and fit. The challenge is the battle of students choosing exercise over technology! I am asking for workout and exercise equipment to add to our growing fitness room! Our area is too small for commercial equipment, so we have to update and replace the equipment used on a regular basis to maintain a one-to-one ratio of equipment to students. Students enjoy working to stay healthy despite the pandemic. Students LOVE going to our small workout room, rocking to the music, and exercising on the multitude of self-paced equipment that allows them an experience outside of the normal "exercising". The requested variety of elliptical, ab machines, and rowing equipment will allow students to perform reps individually and isolate muscle groups to improve their fitness level and overall health. This equipment will help to maintain and update worn-out pieces so students can work out in a safe and fun environment!
