My students need to keep up to date on the different cultures in the world around them. We live in a small rural community, that does not have many minorities. My students need to be exposed to different ways of life then their own. What better way to do so then with books. By donating to this project, it will help students to understand different cultures and hopefully be more accepting and understanding. My students will be reading different books of their chose about different cultures and then they will be giving an oral report bout the book. This is to get students to become engaged in learning new diversities and cultures. Since the pandemic my students have struggled with learning about other people and things not directly around them. This project will help students become broader learners and learn that there are other things in the world around them and how the pandemic has effected the nation globally.
