While I think technology is important and I love using it in my classroom since my students enjoy it so much, I believe that giving my students a hard copy of A Wrinkle in Time, The Giver, and The Outsiders, will truly help immerse them into the book itself. Having a physical copy of the book in front of them allows them to truly give all their attention to the book and get distracted by a computer screen. I am truly excited for this opportunity to be able to provide these books for my students giving them something new, which I think will help them get excited about the novel study we will be doing!
