These resources will be used to help facilitate hands-on learning in my classroom and my fellow teachers' rooms as well. As a smaller school district we do not have math kits that give us all the tools we need for quality learning. These essential resources will make a huge impact on our students. Geometry and measurement is a unit of learning that desperately needs hands-on tools. These tools will help my students to make connections and fully comprehend the material we cover. My students would love to be able to learn about surface area and two/ three dimensional figures with the physical tools in front of them. I know these materials will make a big difference in my students' learning.
