Students like to do things for themselves. Having accurate digital scales that students can understand and know how to use is critical in our classroom. Learning the difference between a physical change and a chemical reaction is one objective we explore. Digital scales help students understand minute differences in the weight of liquids and solids. In math, students use whiteboards to learn and practice new concepts without having to commit to paper and pencil. Whiteboards allow students to quickly erase and continue thinking and solving problems. They are a must in math class.
