With all the “screen time” my students have had in the last 23 months, due to the pandemic, they have lost some of the socialization skills needed to succeed. When the weather is rainy or cold they are unable to be outside during recess, which leads to more “screen time”, either watching a movie or playing games on their computers. These educational and fun activities and games would help with their learning to communicate with each other, taking turns with each other, sharing things with each other, and working out small problems with each other. Many of them wouldn’t even realize they are using math and reading skills to complete the activities.
